Please raise your hand if you slept well last night.
I guess most of you don\'t.
Those traveling will experience some type of lack of sleep, which only other travelers will appreciate or at least empathize.
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts hope to change this.
In order to help guests get a good night\'s sleep, the luxury hotel brand has introduced a fixed bed.
Thanks to the collaboration of the luxury hotel group and leading bed maker Simmons, the new Four Seasons bed is touted as the first fully customizable hotel bed.
The hotel will provide three different hardness options, as well as a variety of pillows and bedside facilities to satisfy your customized comfort.
As part of the new mattress project, guests can choose from the top of the mattress with three different hardness (signature, signature company and signature plush.
Returning guests will find their favorite mattress already in their room.
The new mattress program is expected to be available at all four seasons hotels by 2016, in response to a survey commissioned by the hotel company.
The survey found that about half of hotel guests like medium hardness, 28% like extra hardness, and 14% like soft mattresses.
The survey also showed that 30% of guests asked for room change or other measures, and even a few people chose to sleep on the floor or in the bathtub! -
When the beds in their hotel can\'t meet their needs.
Medical director of Meridian Health sleep
Carol Ash agrees with Four Seasons Hotel on the importance of getting a good night\'s sleep: get the best 7-in addition to improving productivity and maximizing the benefits of your vacation on a business trip-
Even during the trip, Dr. Nguyen pointed out, nine hours of sleep per night. Ash.
Sleep restores our brains to basic levels of intensity.
It is essential for learning and can strengthen our memory.
Sleep is important for maintaining critical thinking, judgment, spatial orientation, reaction time, and emotional stability.
Lack of it will weaken your ability to handle stress and strain your relationships.
But, there\'s more to do besides the mattress, good night.
Dana Kalczak, vice president of the four seasons, said one of the interesting findings in the survey is that the younger the travelers, the more likely they are to have specific preferences, and say so, design.
When we create new hotels and keep reviewing all of our hotels, we have a detailed list of things from headboard location to intuitive and easy-to-use technology, silent light switches, and sealed doors, to block the light and noise in the corridor.
The Four Seasons beds are already in place in several parts of the United States (including Santa Barbara and Jackson Hole) and will replace all the Four Seasons beds in the coming years.
The launch of this new bed coincided with World Sleep Day on March 14.
