If you can\'t afford a new mattress, here\'s how to make a mattress of your own in the fall of 2011, and my husband and I had a serious problem.
I slept on the mattress for several years and finally gave up the ghost. we didn\'t have enough money to change it.
The used mattress is not an option (
Can you say eeewww? )
Continue to sleep in my old, worn out
The mattress caused me back pain, which made me tired all the time, and (
The most important thing for my husband is)
It makes me fidgety in a way that usually happens once a month.
The husband thought for a moment and came up with an unorthodox solution.
We made me a new mattress with my old mattress and some things lying around our apartment.
If you find yourself in the same situation, you can do what we do and save yourself some serious cash.
You need yours. clean! )
Use a spring mattress (
Don\'t do it with a water bed! )
Two or three acrate foam mattress topper (
If your old mattress doesn\'t have much padding and/or the top of the pillow)
Utility knifeAn cheap air mattress with pump net shelf protector (
Six characters, usually in dollar stores)
Plastic mattress cover (
Again, dollar store)
Box spring with a plank of an old bed
Sheets or carpeted floors (
This will be the surface of your new mattress)
Separate your old mattress with a tool knife. (
Have fun!
How often do you save money by destroying something)
Try walking along the seams though so you don\'t go through any mattress padding.
You will use padding later.
Remove all padding from the old mattress.
If your mattress has a pillow, remove the foam from it as well.
If you don\'t have much padding on your mattress or the padding is really worn out, you may need to buy some cheap eggs
A large Crate Mattress topper foambox store.
When you remove all the padding from the old mattress, bring the spring frame to the scrap metal recycling center.
You should be able to get some money for that. (Cha Ching! )
Clean the surface of the new mattress you plan to use.
You need to make sure that there is nothing sharp to pierce the air mattress to avoid it (literally! )let you down.
Next, expand the two characters of the rack protector and place them vertically on your box --spring.
These provide friction to prevent the air mattress from sliding.
Inflate your air mattress with the included pump.
Don\'t inflate it all the way;
You will want to take it a little bit Microsoft because it is more comfortable for a long timeterm use.
Place the air mattress directly on the top of the shelf protective tape.
Gently push the air mattress a few times to make sure it doesn\'t slide easily.
Place two more shelf protectors on the top of the inflatable mattress.
In addition to this, a layer of foam liner is placed.
Add another two-step shelf protector.
Put another layer of foam on it.
Continue to build until the foam runs out or have the mattress of the size you want.
Unlock your mattress protector and place it on the layer you make with air mattress and pad.
In this case, the mattress protector is not there to ensure cleaning (
While it may be beneficial, especially if you have children around you! ).
Instead, it\'s about putting everything together.
If you decide to reinforce things with some pipes
I don\'t know if there is tape on the bottom edge.
Tidy up the bed you usually make.
Enjoy your new mattress!
Safety precautions: all foam used in the mattress should confirm the legal fire safety standards in your area or sell them to the bed for use.
If you are not sure, please check the label, especially if the bed is used by the child, the elderly or anyone with an action problem.
